Whoa nellie...what a whirlwind planning and such has been!

We now have our real wedding bands, our gothy to exchange and go to the playa wedding bands (see pics,) our dresses, shoes, my tiara, and we are starting to work on vows.

Thanks to the generosity of a very sweet person, we now have our marriage license paid for and an appointment to go pick it up on Thurs once we get into San Francisco. 

We are so excited about how everything is coming together. 

We're going to have the ceremony on Baker Beach, with the Golden Gate as our backdrop. We each have special people to stand up with us, an officiant and good friends coming to help with the picture taking. 

Burning Man planning is going a tad slower, as we are still budgeting certain aspects of that portion of the trip. But it will happen all as it should, with that we have no doubt!!

Much love to everyone who has been so supportive of us and our marriage. We cannot begin to express our gratitude. 

Our wedding dresses and shoes have arrived!! We are super excited and are so very thankful for those of you who have gifted toward our ceremony and celebration. It means so much to us. 

Change up in plans make for quite intersting regrouping!!

We found out that City Hall is going to be closed to wedding and other non essential business the last half of August!! Oh noes!! So, we regroup into something more wonderful!!

We have friends who surprised us with getting tickets to come out to our ceremony in San Francisco. Well, not only that, but one of those friends is Ordained and can perform weddings in Cali!!!

So we are having a beach wedding, with the Golden Gate as our backdrop! Squee!! (Unless we decide we want more of a park setting, but still...Squee!!)

We have friends coming from Atl, and a special friend who is helping out with so many things in planning coming from Boston! And then our friends in San Francisco who are helping with pictures and celebrating with us. We also have friends who are coming to visit and celebrate with us in Reno!

We are holding an Alice in Wonderland tea party as our on playa reception at Poly paradise on Tues from 3;30 to 5:30.

We couldn't be happier with how things are turning out. So much love!

Just under four months to go.  Wow.  Sooooo.....first we would like to thank Amy and Greg Ellner, and Karen Roman for their kind gifts.  We appreciate it to no end!

We had a huge leap in progress today as we have both settled on our respective gowns.  Big surprise, our colors are purple and silver.  :)  We will be ordering them in a few weeks, custom from overseas; fingers crossed only minimal alterations will be required by the Big Day.

Also this week we signed up for our volunteer shifts at Burning Man.  Temple Guardians and Lamplighters, yay!  Oh, and for those of you who will be on playa this year, please come find us at Poly Paradise Tuesday 3:30-5:30pm, when we will celebrate our marriage with a Wonderland-themed Mad Tea Party.  Clovie will be our Dark Alice, and Dani will be the Cheshire Cat. 

Hmmmm, what else?  Airfare, Burning Man tickets and wedding bands all acquired.  Now come the millions of details....we'll keep you posted!
