| The air in Colorado is very, very dry. Bring lotion and chapstick with you so you don't shrivel up! Denver is a "mile high": the elevation is 5,280 feet above sea level. The location of the wedding is closer to 10,000 feet above sea level. That means you need to drink lots and lots of water to stay hydrated and avoid headaches. It also means that alcohol will hit you harder than you are used to: please drink responsibly at our party and do not drive after drinking AT ALL. The legal limit is .05 BAC (it is .08 in VA) which means one glass of wine will likely put you over the limit. We want you going home in one piece with great memories, and not injuries or DUIs! The roads in the mountains can be treacherous as well, so please be cautious! |
