We met in California when Jerome was living in Los Angeles and Kevin was stationed in San Diego before being reassigned to Washington, DC. As many of you know Kevin was in the Navy for nearly 23 years. Jerome was invited to a pre-Thanksgiving party hosted by two of his middle school friends, whom Kevin both knew from his service. Five years, countless plane tickets, phones calls, letters, and Skype sessions later Jerome found his way D.C. While they don't miss the planes, trains, and automobiles they still like to travel - only now, together.
