Jerome, a Jamerican from Miami, FL, has always loved two things: food and music, the former probably more than the latter. This was until he discovered the viola. Truth be told he most likely still loves food more but playing the viola is a close second. Performing has taken Jerome all over the world and enabled him to see many places and try many cuisines. Fortunately, his Jamaican background gave him a high tolerance for spicy foods. It was then no surprise that one call from old friends throwing a dinner party lured him down to San Diego. Who would have thought that his unabashed love for food would have been so instrumental in meeting his husband - a Naval Commander?

From Bridgeport, NY, a small town outside Syracuse, Kevin never spent much time thinking about the arts; however, he admits he has always appreciated artistic people. As a Naval Commander and combat veteran, Kevin has also traveled all over the world. He has been stationed onboard the USS CUSHING (DD 985) - a Spruance Class Destroyer homeported in Yokosuka, Japan, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Kandahar, Afghanistan. As he puts it, he “never really had time for the finer things in life.” Little did he know his military career would lead him to fall in love with a food-crazed violist.
